# Adding Collaborators

> Add interested parties to a fund so they can help manage and make grant recommendations

## What's a Collaborator?

Collaborators can help manage and make grant recommendations from your fund, providing additional oversight and expertise to your giving strategy.

## Step 1: Add a Collaborator

The donor (as fund manager) should connect and navigate to the fund you want to collaborate on. Click the `Add a Collaborator` button.

The donor can also reach the `Collaborators` menu from the Fund by clicking on the gear near the top of the screen. Here, you can see existing collaboration information and add a new collaborator. To add a new collaborator, click the `Add Collaborator` button and complete the form.

You may also [reach out to us directly](mailto:admin+collaborator@endaoment.org) to request setting up collaboration.

## Step 2: Await Collaborator Approval

After a brief compliance review, you and the collaborator will receive a confirmation email for your records.
