What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a personalized charitable account that allows you to make donations to Endaoment and recommend grants to other organizations. This guide will help you create a new DAF using your connected account.

Creating a Fund

  1. Ensure you are connected by verifying your connected account.

  2. Navigate to the Endaoment landing page and click on New Fund.

  3. You’ll be prompted to enter a name and purpose for your fund (visible only to you), along with some contact information.

  4. Choose the network on which you’d like to create your fund. Typically, this would be the network where your assets are held.

  5. Once completed, click Create Fund.

Adjust Fund Settings

After creating your fund, you can adjust the fund’s name, description, or visibility at any time. Simply click the gear icon next to your fund’s name - you can adjust things as needed, and then click save to preserve your changes.
