Collaborating on a Fund
Collaborate with a trusted advisor to manage your fund.
What is Fund Collaboration?
Fund collaboration is a feature that allows you to work with a trusted advisor to manage your fund. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who want to delegate the management of their fund to a professional advisor. By collaborating with an advisor, you grant them read only access to your fund, and allow them to make recommendations that appear directly in your UI, including making donations, making grant recommendations, as well as managing portfolio positions.
Step 1: Add a Collaborator
Navigate to Endaoment and connect. Then, navigate to the fund you want to collaborate with an advisor on, and click on the Add a Collaborator
button.
You can also reach this Collaborators
menu by clicking on the Fund Settings gear near the top of the screen.
Here, you can view existing collaborations and add a new collaborator. To add a new collaborator, click the Add Collaborator
button. Simply complete the form with the information of the person you would like to collaborate with.
Step 2: Await Collaborator Approval
Once you have added a collaborator, they will receive an email notification from Endaoment with details concerning the requested collaboration. Once they accept, they will be able to view your fund and make recommendations. We’ll notify you when they have accepted the collaboration request.
Congratulations! You are now collaborating with a trusted advisor on your fund.
Step 3: Collaborate
Once your collaborator has accepted the collaboration request, they will be able to view your fund and make recommendations. You can view their recommendations in your UI, and choose to accept or reject them.
Remove a Collaborator
If you no longer wish to collaborate with an advisor, you can remove them from your fund at any time. Simply email us with the name of the advisor you would like to remove, and we will take care of the rest.
