We think your donated assets should make their way to organizations, rather than sitting in a DAF racking up fees. Endaoment has a unique fee structure designed to maximize the impact of your giving. We charge a one-time fee at donation (0.50% or 50 basis points, reduced for larger gifts) and a one-time fee at grantmaking (1.0% or 100 basis points). This creates bigger savings over time for most donors: On a $100 million gift over 10 years, Endaoment’s fees are just 0.65%, compared to 1.06% at NPT and 2.47% at Goldman Sachs. No Minimums
Major providers often require a minimum fee of $500, plus a minimum donation of $5,000 or even $25,000 to open a DAF. At Endaoment, there is no required DAF initial donation size, and no charge for opening a DAF! There is no minimum donation size or grant size.Tiered Inbound Fee
When you initially make a donation of any asset into your DAF, you’ll pay a one-time fee of 0.50% (50 basis points) based on the total amount of the donation. This fee is tiered and reduces based on the size of the gift:| Balance Range | Donation Fee |

1.0% Outbound Fee
Once a grant recommendation is approved by Endaoment, there is a one-time 1.0% fee (100 basis points) at the time of grantmaking. This amount is used to support our work before funds are sent to the nonprofit.If you make a direct donation on an organization’s page, you are making both a donation and a grant recommendation simultaneously; a 1.5% fee is applied.
